Terms and Conditions

By using this site you are acknowledging that you have read and agree with the following terms and conditions.  These terms and conditions may be changed or added to at any time.

Commissions and special orders

If you are interested in commissioning a special piece from Jane then please get in touch.  The design must be agreed and signed off by the client and a minimum deposit of 50% must be paid before work can commence.  This is your commitment to the commission and is non-refundable.  The balance will be charged on completion of the work and payment must be received before the item/s are despatched/collected.  Delivery time and shipping details will be discussed and agreed. 

Payment

Jane Moore can accept card payments over the telephone or by bank transfer.  Goods remain the property of Jane Moore until paid for in full.

Delivery

Delivery dates to be discussed and agreed case by case.  Unless being collected from the workshop, orders are normally shipped using Royal Mail Special Delivery.  This will be charged on top unless otherwise agreed.

International orders will be delivered via the International Tracked and Signed service offered by UK Royal Mail and charged for accordingly.  Jane Moore cannot be held responsible for any delays caused by the postal service or customs checks.  Any customs charges are the sole responsibility of the customer. 

Any time or date stated for delivery is an estimate only.

Packaging

Your jewellery will be packaged safely and securely in a jewellery box with Jane Moore stamped on the lid and delivered in an air padded envelope.

Cancellations

Orders cancelled after despatch must be returned to the studio unworn, in perfect condition, and in its original packaging before a refund can be issued - see returns, exchanges & refunds below.  +44 (0) 1273 819 199

Special orders cannot be cancelled or refunded once payment has been made.  This is your agreement and commitment to the order.

Commissioned pieces cannot be cancelled or refunded once you have signed off the design, paid a deposit and work has commenced.

 

Returns, exchanges and refunds

Jane hope’s that you will be delighted with your jewellery but if for any reason you are not happy with your purchase then simply return the goods, unworn, in perfect condition, and in the original packaging.  

All goods must be returned within 14 days of delivery to receive a refund (minus the cost of postage and packaging).  If goods are returned after 14 days and within 30 days of delivery Jane is happy to offer an exchange or credit note.

You are responsible for arranging and paying for goods to be returned using a delivery service which ensures the item is tracked and insured during transit.

By making payment and committing to an order you are trusting Jane and her judgement to meet your requirements as best she can and accept that the result may differ slightly from your expectation.  Jane is confident that you will be delighted with your jewellery but if you feel it is far from what was agreed upon then please contact Jane within 5 days of delivery to discuss an exchange.

Commissioned pieces cannot be refunded or exchanged.

Faulty or incorrect goods 

It is part of Jane's ethos to make jewellery of the highest quality but in the unlikely event that your jewellery arrives faulty, damaged or it is not what you ordered you must inform Jane via email within 7 days of delivery and she will help to resolve any issues as quickly as possible.  Please take note of the care instructions provided on this site.  

Wilful, malicious damage or negligence will void any rights you have to take advantage of the refund or exchange policies.

Goods which are thought to be faulty after this time will be treated case by case.  Please contact Jane to discuss the problem.
 

Repairs

Please refer to the care instructions provided on this site and look after your jewellery as appropriate.  Pieces that have been broken or damaged will be considered case by case and any work to repair or recondition your jewellery may incur a charge.  

Description of goods

Due to the handmade nature of the jewellery and the vagaries of the enamel, colours and tones may vary from those pictured on the website.  In addition variations in monitor, browser or software calibrations on your browsing device may cause variations in image and colour of items shown digitally, for which Jane Moore cannot accept responsibility.  If for any reason you are not happy with your order or you feel it is not in keeping with your request please contact Jane within 30 days of purchase to discuss an exchange.  Please refer to the ‘Exchanges, Returns and Refunds’ policy for purchases exempt of exchange or refund.  Please refer to the individual product dimensions provided for the actual size of each piece.
